Q:What are the different types of leads?
A:There are 4 different types of leads.
  • Unqualified - If a lead is unqualified, then you do not know if they want to do business with you yet.
  • Qualified - If a lead is qualified, then you know they are interrested in doing business with you, but you are not yet talking about prices.
  • Negotiating - If you are talking about prices and trying to finalize a sale, then this is the right category for your lead.
  • Retired - You can retire a lead and it will be taken off your list. This is for leads that you do not want to follow-up with anymore.
You can also set a lead to Current. If you do that, the lead will turned into a customer or a vendor. It will then automatically be moved to either your customer list or your suppliers & vendors screen based on what type of lead is it.
